Wet process
Rinse Wash
The lightest wash a denim garment can get: a short rinse that removes the size without removing colour.

- How it works
- Garments are washed briefly in water, sometimes with a mild detergent or desizing enzyme, and then dried. No stones or abrasive products are used.
- Result
- Dark, even colour, almost the same as the raw fabric, with a less stiff hand and stabilised measurements.
- Best applications
- Garments with a dark, clean, dressier look, or that will develop their wear through use.
- Garments it is commonly used on
- Dark jeans, denim jackets and denim shirts.
- Care points and remarks
- Because little colour comes out in the wash, the garment may bleed in the first home washes or rub off onto light fabrics.
